Fall From Grace
I knew that this book would be a major waste of time for me so I had to DNF it at 20%. I know that 20% isn't really enough to give up on a book but let me explain. I picked this up thinking that it was a paranormal book. I saw that it was about angels and that's exactly what I was looking for.Fall From Grace was the wrong genre for me. It was a contemporary romance disguised as paranormal. I was expecting an exciting paranormal plot but instead I got an angel living on earth looking for her "one". That part would have been fine by me but I could tell that the angel storyline was only added to give the story a little something extra. This book was predominately romance, which is totally not my thing. Romance is fine but I need a plot. I kind of felt tricked with the promise of an angel storyline.
Nothing makes me madder than a book being disguised as something it is not.
So, not only was this book not really about the paranormal but the main characters love interest was a major douche. I wouldn't think that a "fallen angel, visiting angel or whatever the crap she was" would fall for a shallow idiot like that. I'm sure he changes and turns into the best person ever but.....
